Director, Inspire Foundation
Elizabeth is a Director of the Inspire Foundation, an organisation which helps millions of young Australians lead happier lives, and is currently completing her Articles of Clerkship at the State Solicitor’s Office and tutoring at the UWA Law School. She has been heavily involved in the Perth community, serving as the Editor of the UWA Student Newspaper Pelican, the President of the UWA Blackstone Law Students’ Society, the Chair of the City of Perth Youth Advisory Council and a Student Editor on the UWA Law Review. In 2008, Elizabeth was selected to be the Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations. Elizabeth fundraised approximately $50,000 to undertake a 5 month National Consultation Tour, consulting young people in each state and territory of Australia. During her time in New York, Elizabeth discussed key issues with the UN Secretary General and the Australian Prime Minister, and delivered a statement on the importance of youth participation in public life during the General Assembly. Elizabeth also worked within the Third Committee of the General Assembly, focusing primarily on Human Rights.
